Paathik is a Cyberspace expert, specializing in private cybercrime investigation, IPR consulting and information security process implementation. He is a serial entrepreneur and consults clients on technical, legal and process implementation functions, for the achievement of their business goals.  He completed his post-graduation in Technology Entrepreneurship, majoring in Business Model Canvas, from Stanford School of Engineering (Class of 2017). His foray into Cyberlaw began when he merged his extensive technology experience with his legal expertise to help businesses navigate the complex web of cyberspace.

Professional Experience

The technology bug bit him early on when, at the age of 19, he became a part of India’s first MAN Fiber Optic Technology on Public WAN. And as a professional who was meant to lead, Paathik set up his first entrepreneurial venture – Rollercoaster Cyber Café, one that offered raw gateway fiber optic bandwidth and Video on demand (VoD), in a time when dial-up connections were the norm.


His next venture, Etel Communications, was one of the first organisations to source, import and set up a private label of mobile accessories. And with the growing use of technology, Paathik envisioned an e-waste management market that effectively managed the loosely discarded, surplus, obsolete and broken electronic devices. Thus, he conceptualised and set up a refurbishing unit that examined, tested, repaired, replaced, cleansed and re-installed components to produce as-good-as-new mobile phones. With this vision, the company refurbished close to 1.5 lakh damaged phones.


In 2007, he founded Muni’s Telekom Private Limited, where he customised and developed systems for major mobile network operators (MNOs) to provide B2C & B2B solutions in the field of wireless payments, SMS, e-commerce, logistics, IP-based and international communications.Paathik is also responsible for introducing global brands like Kodak Audio, CAT mobile phones and accessories, Nakoda Plast, and a few products of Marico to the Indian e-commerce industry.


As a co-founder of ROPARO Technologies Limited, Paathik took bigger leaps into the telecom sector and launched India’s first international prepaid SIM Card – IPre Sims2Go. It was Sims2Go that went on to become an international retail communications brand with a presence in over 14 countries.
It was at this juncture that Paathik identified a gap in the market for lawyers who truly understood the nitty-gritties of technology with a correlation to cyberlaw. With a natural acumen to understand law, Paathik diversified his professional skillset by completing his post-graduation in Cyber Law from Nalsar University of Law.
